FORTY of the region’s most impressive property schemes battled it out at the Centenary Pavilion in Leeds last night for top honours at the 2013 RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) Pro-Yorkshire Awards.

Leeds Royal Mail Centre scooped the Infrastructure accolade.

The project has significantly increased the efficiency of the postal service throughout Yorkshire and judges praised Royal Mail for operating as normal throughout the works. The University of York’s, Langwith College in York won the Residential award for its brand new hall of residence for 650 students. A choice of studios, en-suite rooms is available along with flats for six or contemporary town-houses for eight.
