Suc­cess on a plate as char­ity in money

GUESTS at the Har­ro­gate and Dis­trict Es­tate Agents Pres­i­dent’s Din­ner raised more than £1,500 for its nom­i­nated char­ity, Open Coun­try.

Pres­i­dent Tony Wright, part­ner and head of res­i­den­tial at Carter Jonas, said: “I am de­lighted to be able to sup­port such a worth­while char­ity. We have the huge priv­i­lege of liv­ing in a beau­ti­ful county that should be ac­ces­si­ble to each and ev­ery one of us.”

David Shaftoe, project of­fi­cer at Open Coun­try, said: “Open Coun­try is a Har­ro­gate-based or­gan­i­sa­tion that helps peo­ple with dis­abil­i­ties to ac­cess the coun­try­side through a va­ri­ety of ac­tiv­i­ties and the pro­vi­sion of in­for­ma­tion, train­ing and ad­vice.”
