Coun­cil prop­er­ties in year’s first sale

AF­TER a suc­cess­ful 2013 in which they achieved sales of more than £80m, Pugh & Co Auc­tions are now head­ing to­wards their first auc­tion of the year.

Di­rec­tor and auc­tion­eer Paul Thomp­son says: “The prop­erty mar­ket con­tin­ues to pro­vide in­creas­ing re­turns to in­vestors and im­prov­ing sales prices and we are see­ing this in our auc­tion re­sults. There are some great op­por­tu­ni­ties.”

Th­ese in­clude a for­mer adult train­ing cen­tre, on a site of 0.6 acres, for North York­shire County Coun­cil and Sc­hole­moor for­mer ceme­tery of­fice with con­sent for res­i­den­tial use at £90,000, on be­half of City of Brad­ford Coun­cil.
