Awards for Park Row property
KENNETH Hodgson House, the restoration project named in memory of the founder of Westcourt Properties and late father of the company’s director, Tim Hodgson, has received praise at the annual Leeds Architecture awards.
The Park Row building scooped an award for special lighting and picked up a commendation in the Best Conserved Building category.
Tim says: “This is the very first award Westcourt has ever entered, so to get two mentions for a project which is close to my heart is fantastic. The extensive six-month restoration in 2013 was certainly taxing but moreover exceptionally rewarding. Retaining the historic character was of great importance.”
