Contenders for RIBA award unveiled
FIFTEEN buildings in the region have been shortlisted for a 2014 RIBA Yorkshire Award by the Royal Institute of British Architects.
They include Great Coates Village Hall, Great Coates by Jonathan Hendry Architects; Manor Works, Sheffield, by Architecture; Nestle Product Technology Centre, York, by DLA Architecture Ltd; Trinity Leeds by Chapman Taylor; Underbank House, Holmfirth, by Prue Chiles Architects and Wakefield One by Cartwright Pickard.
Emma England, regional director of RIBA Yorkshire, says: “We are delighted with the number of awards entries and the quality of the architecture on the shortlist this year. It is a diverse list.” Winners are announced in May.
