Region sees steady growth in prices
LATEST FIGURES: The Land Registry data for November shows an annual house price increase of 6.7 per cent, which takes the average property value in the UK to £217,928. Monthly house prices rose by 1.1 per cent between October and November 2016. In Yorkshire, monthly prices matched the national average with a 1.1 per cent and the annual growth was 5.1 per cent bringing the average house price in the region to £152,418. The East of England experienced the greatest increase in its average property price over the last 12 months with a movement of 10.5 per cent. The North East saw the lowest, with a rise of 3.2 per cent.
