COMMUNITY: A total of 38 people from property company Morgans were given the day off work so that they could volunteer at two local charities. The staff, who are based at Morgans’ offices on Dock Street in Leeds city centre and Otley Road in Headingley, volunteered at Leeds MENCAP and Hollin Lane Allotments. Managing director Jonathan Morgan came up with the plan. He says: “I am a big believer in helping the community in which you live and work. We did a similar project last year when half of us spent a day refurbishing the St George’s Crypt shop on Armley Town Street and the other half were bag packing at Morrisons.”
