Nidderdale mill to become homes

Yorkshire Post - Property - - PROPERTY NEWS -

CONVERSION: Glasshouses Mill in Nidderdale is to be converted into 40 homes.

The scheme by Newby and the mill’s owner, will include a combination of townhouses and apartments. The clock tower will be retained and the design will make the most of the riverside setting. Thought to be the site where glass was made for Fountains Abbey in the late 1300s, the mill is a mile from Pateley Bridge. Newby’s Nick Moody says: “We expect to sell properties quickly since many of the units will be affordable to first-time buyers and young professionals.” To register interest, contact Nicholls Tyreman, tel: 01423 503076.
