Gang of youths assault taxi driver

Police are appealing for witnesses after a taxi driver was assaulted by youths who had been throwing stones at his car in Calderdale.

Incidents of stones thrown at taxis were also reported in Illingworth and Ovenden. A taxi driver suffered a gash above his eye after being attacked on Wednesday in Ovenden Way.
