Visit marks start of work on homes

Sir Edward Lister, chairman of the Homes and Communities Agency, visited the city to mark the launch of a £120m regeneration scheme.

Construction has begun of 750 homes west of Wawne Road, Kingswood, which will be available for shared ownership and affordable rent as well as outright sale. The scheme, a partnership between house builders, a housing association and Hull Council, includes green spaces, new bus routes and 300 apprenticeships.
