New chapter for historic school

The new academic year has seen the launch of a new school in the spa town.

Ashville Prep School, which opened its doors to pupils for the first time this week, has been formed by the merger of Ashville Pre-Prep and Junior Schools and will be led by headteacher Simon Bailey. The school, which offers education for children aged from three to 11, is part of Ashville College’s continuing evolution, which began 140 years ago.
