Accused of killing stepfather, 73
A man accused of stabbing his 73-yearold stepfather to death has appeared before a judge.
Alistair Throup, 47, was charged with murder after officers were called to a disturbance on Friday.
Philip Slater was pronounced dead at the scene in Oakland Street, Silsden, near Keighley.
Throup, of Oakland Street, appeared at Bradford Crown Court yesterday. He was remanded into custody until the next hearing on November 10.
