A teacher ran the Berlin Marathon to help inspire donations for the NSPCC.

Paul Hooson, who teaches at Westbrook Lane Primary in Horsforth, raised £1,168.90 for the charity. He said: “I am so delighted that I managed to complete the marathon, which is an amazing event. I look back on my childhood with really happy memories and it saddens me that it isn’t the case for so many children.”
