Thief targeted ill woman in park

HUDDERSFIELD: A woman who was having a ‘medical episode’ was set upon by a thief in a park.

The theft happened in Greenhead Park in Huddersfield at 4pm on Monday. Police said yesterday the victim suffered the episode while sitting on a bench in the park. The thief stole her bag, containing camera equipment and a mobile phone, worth more than £1,000.
