Rudd’s hope for older apprentices

Amber Rudd has said she hopes the number of over60s starting apprenticeships continues to increase.

She denied the Government had insulted women affected by state pension age changes after Pensions Minister Guy Opperman last year suggested apprenticeships provide a route to re-employment. Ms Rudd now holds the women and equalities brief alongside her work as Home Secretary.
