Sprin­kler ac­ci­dent dam­ages war­ship

Sprin­klers on board Bri­tain’s big­gest war­ship HMS Queen El­iz­a­beth were ac­ci­den­tally set off.

It is un­der­stood the sprin­klers were iso­lated, the wa­ter stopped and cleared – and that some dam­age was caused in the han­gar in­side the ship but not to the rest of the ves­sel, which is in Portsmouth.
