Large blaze at recycling plant

Five fire appliances were called to a blaze at a recycling plant in the early hours of yesterday.

Fire crews from the Dearne, Rotherham and Doncaster stations attended the blaze at the recycling plant on Bolton Road in the Wath-upon-Dearne area of Rotherham just before 2am yesterday.

A large amount of rubbish for recycling was on fire inside a warehouse building.

The cause of the fire was last night still under investigation, but is believed to be accidental.
