HERE COMES THE GROOM
Ross Armstrong on the perils of picking a honeymoon
1 Set your parameters. Work out how much you can spend, how much holiday you can take and how far you’re prepared to travel, to help narrow the selection to one or two countries.
2 Think about past holidays you’ve loved. Don’t choose a style of holiday you’ve never been on before; if you love relaxing on the beach, now is not the time to book a hike through Bhutan!
3 Consider the weather. If it’s rainy season in your dream destination straight after your wedding, consider a romantic minimoon first with the longer haul option later in the year.
