Barnevelders are one of those breeds that have passionate followers and breeders. They are not an easy breed to locate, but when you do tap into a local source of stock you can be sure it will be an enthusiast of the breed who is keeping them. Vaccination can increase the cost of rearing this breed on a small scale and this can be reflected in the price (and rightly so) and as such Expect to be paying around £35 for a vaccinated good quality pullet.
