“I went to the gym for the whole of my preg­nancy, work­ing with a per­sonal trainer twice a week. Two weeks after hav­ing Otis I was back rid­ing again. “I found it eas­ier than I ex­pected. I was a bit ner­vous as to how I would come back. You hear of women strug­gling to lose weight, but I car­ried on go­ing to the gym and while it’s hard work, it is achiev­able. “Go­ing back to rid­ing is dif­fer­ent for ev­ery­one. I can’t tell any­one else how they will feel. The key is to do what you feel con­fi­dent and com­fort­able do­ing. “For me, I felt com­fort­able rid­ing through­out my preg­nancy and per­haps that was the rea­son I be­gan rid­ing again so quickly after hav­ing Otis.”
