Coffee G&T

If you thought the vast range of coffee choices couldn’t possibly increase then think again. Just as we’ve sorted flat whites from skinny lattes a whole new coffee revolution is emerging, including coffee G&Ts. To serve up this mix you need a shot of cold brew coffee – another trendy kind of coffee available in supermarkets (Sandows Cold Brew Coffee is £2.99 at M&S). Simply fill a tumbler with lots of ice, add 10-20ml of cold brew coffee, 50ml of gin and top with tonic!

Gen-Xers

Are you a Gen-Xer? A recent survey from Nationwide Savings has discovered this new tribe of 50-somethings are tearing up the script of what society thinks is middle aged. Labelled as ‘the demographic cohort following baby boomers’, the group’s hallmarks include a love for new challenges, listening to Queen and having Grease as their number one movie of all time. But surely it’s simply a case of every generation having its own likes and dislikes? And really age is no barrier to being young at heart – you can be an 80-something and still take on new challenges! Age is simply just a number.
