The 1962 hit Boccaccio 70 sees Sophia shine in four arresting tales of women’s empowerment in post-war Italy, while Marriage Italian Style (1964) reunites Sophia (below) with her regular fellow leading man Marcello Mastroianni of La Dolce Vita fame. And this dynamic cinema duo get together once again in the 1964 Academy awardwinning Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.
