Got a glut of pump­kin? Make a tasty sweet spread per­fect on hot toast

800g (1lb 7oz) of cooked puréed pump­kin 1 tbsp ground cin­na­mon ½ tsp ground gin­ger ¼ tsp ground nut­meg 1 tbsp honey 1 tbsp sugar 1. Place all of the in­gre­di­ents in a pan over a medium-high heat. 2. Cook for 5-7 mins, stir­ring con­stantly, un­til the mix­ture is hot through­out. 3. Re­move from the heat and care­fully spoon the spread into ster­ilised jars and seal. Once cool, re­frig­er­ate un­til ready to eat.
