Got a glut of pumpkin? Make a tasty sweet spread perfect on hot toast
800g (1lb 7oz) of cooked puréed pumpkin 1 tbsp ground cinnamon ½ tsp ground ginger ¼ tsp ground nutmeg 1 tbsp honey 1 tbsp sugar 1. Place all of the ingredients in a pan over a medium-high heat. 2. Cook for 5-7 mins, stirring constantly, until the mixture is hot throughout. 3. Remove from the heat and carefully spoon the spread into sterilised jars and seal. Once cool, refrigerate until ready to eat.
