RECORD MEMORIES

YOURS (UK) - - Meeting Place -

I’m not sure whether or not there was a charge. WH Smith also had a lending library at that time. Joyce Moores, Newport I still have a large quantity of 78rpm records. My favourite singer in the Fifties was Dickie Valentine. I always bought his latest record as soon as it was out, stopping at the local shop on the way home from work. I think the price was about 4s 4d! Mrs Gardner, Cirencester
