CARERS IN TOUCH

-

Retired ambulance driver, Geoff Barnett, lives with a range of health issues but wants to encourage others that life can still be enjoyed. Geoff is diabetic, has chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) a pacemaker for heart problems, sleep apnoea and severe arthritis but he and his wife, Christine, support one another and still get out and about and enjoy their holidays.

Geoff runs a Breathe Easy group for people who suffer with lung problems and has joined Carers in Touch. “Many people have hidden health problems like me but I never let them get me down. Just enjoy life as much as you can and do what the doctor tells you! I hope I can encourage other people to keep going,” he says.

You can join too…
