Oct. 14 “School No.3” is a doc­u­men­tary co-por­duced by Ger­man and Ukrainian di­rec­tors, which will be screened in Kyiv dur­ing the New Ger­man Cin­ema fes­ti­val. It tells the story of 13 teenagers from Myko­laivka, a town in Donetsk Oblast, whose school was de­stroyed be­cause of Rus­sia’s war but was re­built later. The teenagers share their feel­ings, hopes and fears. “School No.3” won the Grand Prix in the “Gen­er­a­tion 14+” pro­gram for the best fea­ture film at the Ber­lin In­ter­na­tional Film Fes­ti­val in Fe­bru­ary, 2017.
