Cel­e­brat­ing in­de­pen­dence

The Amer­i­can Cham­ber of Com­merce in Ukraine (UCCU) held its an­nual pic­nic on July 7 to mark U.S. In­de­pen­dence Day, with around 3,000 guests at­tend­ing the event. This year the pic­nic was held at the Kyiv In­ter­na­tional School Sta­dium. Guests were treated to pop mu­sic and Amer­i­can food, and re­laxed with col­leagues and friends. This year the pic­nic was cash­less — at­ten­dees were is­sued cards to pay for food, drinks and en­ter­tain­ments. 1 U.S. Am­bas­sador to Ukraine Marie Yo­vanovitch and ACCU Pres­i­dent Andy Hun­der wel­come guests. 2 Chil­dren play in a bouncy cas­tle in the chil­dren zone. 3 Vis­i­tors dance to mu­sic dur­ing the pic­nic. 4 Guests re­lax on the play­ing field at the sta­dium. 5 A girl sports a U.S.-themed face paint­ing. 6 Chil­dren play on a bouncy cas­tle in the kids' zone. 7 A man blows soap bub­bles. 8 Chil­dren play a bas­ket­ball game. 9 A woman poses in a hat for a photo.
