Rick Gates, the for­mer em­ployee of polti­cal con­sul­tant Paul Manafort (C) tes­ti­fied in U.S. Fed­eral Court in Alexandria, Vir­ginia, that their ser­vices for ousted Ukrainian Pres­i­dent Vik­tor Yanukovych (top right) were paid for by seven prom­i­nent Ukraini­ans and one Rus­sian oli­garch, Oleg Deri­paska. Manafort is on trial, charged with bank fraud and tax eva­sion in­volv­ing $66 mil­lion that he re­ceived while Yanukovych was pres­i­dent from 2010 un­til ab­di­cat­ing from power and flee­ing to Rus­sia
