Hack­en­sack Univer­sity Med­i­cal Cen­ter has achieved the 2014 Women’s Health Ex­cel­lence Award for the ninth year in a row, ac­cord­ing to Health­grades, the lead­ing on­line re­source for com­pre­hen­sive in­for­ma­tion about physi­cians and hos­pi­tals. Hack­en­sack­UMC is the only hos­pi­tal in the na­tion to re­ceive this award nine con­sec­u­tive years, and is one of only 178 rec­og­nized na­tion­ally.

“Hack­en­sack­UMC is proud to be a na­tion­ally rec­og­nized leader in women’s health care,” says Robert C. Gar­rett, pres­i­dent and chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer of the Hack­en­sack Univer­sity Health Net­work. “In ad­di­tion to the Donna A. San­zari Women’s Hos­pi­tal on cam­pus, we con­tin­u­ously look for in­no­va­tive ways to pro­vide the best pos­si­ble care to fe­male pa­tients, in­clud­ing the Women’s Car­diac In­sti­tute and Women’s Ex­ec­u­tive Health pro­gram.”
