It is a good idea to have copies of cer­tain key med­i­cal records at home in case you can’t get to your reg­u­lar doc­tor or need to be seen in an emer­gency room, says Dr. Stephen Brun­nquell, pres­i­dent of the med­i­cal staff at En­gle­wood Hos­pi­tal and Med­i­cal Cen­ter. Those records might in­clude your lat­est blood tests, an­giogram or CAT scan, de­pend­ing on your med­i­cal his­tory.
