NEW OFF-ROAD-READY GMC
or Chevrolet it’s the Silverado Trailboss; now GMC will also have a special off-road model of its revised 2019 pickup, the Sierra AT4. Like the Trailboss, the Sierra AT4 will be built with a 2-inch suspension lift, Rancho shocks, extra skidplates, and a locking rear differential. Styling differentiates the GMC from the Chevy, as do such GMC-exclusive options as the CarbonPro carbon-fiber pickup box,
FMultiPro tailgate, multicolor head-up display, and rear camera mirror. The AT4’s standard engine is GM’s 5.3L gas V-8, although the truck is available with the 6.2L gas V-8 or 3.0L Duramax turbodiesel six.
GMC says the Sierra AT4, which goes on sale this fall, is the start of an AT4 brand for the division, “which will be seen on every vehicle in our lineup in the next two years.”
