GH Fan Club Weekend
The GENERAL HOSPITAL Fan Club Weekend Kick-Off Event was red-hot and… chill
The GENERAL HOSPITAL Fan Club Weekend Kick-Off Event was not only a great party, it was also a laid-back affair. During the Thursday-night social at The Hilton Embassy Suites Glendale, actors rolled in and picked spots in the ballroom to meet, greet and sign autographs — and often, they had a line of excited fans waiting to dish with them before they’d even had a chance to get situated! It was anyone’s guess who would show up next, which only added to the excitement in the room as fans sipped cocktails, munched on tacos and caught up on all things GH. With no formal Q&A or activities planned, GH lovers enjoyed lots of face time with the actors — all of whom would be back for more events later in the weekend!
The good times rolled — and rocked! — at the GENERAL HOSPITAL Fan Club Weekend
“This is my favorite time of the year,” gushed a bubbly Haley Pullos (Molly). “GHFCW is such fun. It reminds us how much everybody here loves GH — and how much we love everybody here!”
Risa Dorken was thrilled to show Dioni Michelle Collins (Deanna) the ropes — and to
receive so much love at her second Kick-Off. “There’s been a turning point — Amy has arrived!” she cheered. “I’m
flattered. And I just love matching the social media
handles to the faces.”
“I don’t usually go to the Kick-Off, because the weekend’s so hectic, but this year, I wanted to see everybody the first night, since I just got back to the show,” said Kirsten Storms (Maxie), with Dominic Zamprogna (Dante). “It was awesome!”
“It feels very warm and cozy to be with all these people who love the show so much and are so connected with it,” raved Vernee Watson (Stella), posing with on-screen nephew Donnell Turner (Curtis).
Carolyn Hennesy loves GH… and the fans love her and Diane! GHFCW was packed with fun show paraphernalia, with most photos and tchotchke sales supporting nonprofit organizations.
“I wouldn’t miss this,” smiled Zamprogna,
who was under strict orders from his daughters to be home for their bedtime.
“If my story was real life, I would be crazy,” laughed birthday girl Scarlett Fernandez, whose home with big sister Reagan is thankfully much more stable than Charlotte’s!
