Can Jason, Michael and Chase finally get the goods on Nelle… and set Carly free?

So far, GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Nelle has managed to stay one step ahead of everyone who would bring her down. But this week, forces are aligning which could finally bring her down. Because what Nelle doesn’t know is that three different men are doing everything in their power to reveal her darkest secrets… hopefully, before it’s too late for Carly, who is facing her worst nightmare!

Chase Makes A Confession!

Wanting to be completely honest with his boss, Chase fills Jordan in on his past with Nelle… and his desire to help see her brought to justice! “Chase feels partially responsible for the fact that Nelle is still out there destroying lives,” explains co-headwriter Shelly Altman. “He intends to use his past with Nelle to get her to reveal what she’s been up to. But he wants to be completely upfront with Jordan. He’s a stand-up guy, so that’s important to him.”

Jason’s Getting Closer!

With a little help from Spinelli, Jason now has proof that Carly was definitely being gaslighted. But what comes next? “Jason can now prove that Carly wasn’t hallucinating,” says Altman, “and that’s a very good thing. On the other hand, it doesn’t prove that Carly didn’t purposefully push Nelle down the staircase, and that’s what she was sent away for.”

“It does give Carly hope,” adds coheadwriter Chris Van Etten, “and her

loved ones the knowledge that she wasn’t totally nuts, and she wasn’t hallucinating. She really saw what she claimed she saw. There’s no denying that now!”

Carly Gets A Shock!

“Carly finds herself sinking deeper into the abyss that is

While Carly may not have been nuts when she got that fake phone call from Morgan, what happens next just might push her over the edge. When someone shows up at Ferncliff claiming to be a member of Carly’s family, she is excited to have a visitor. Until, that is, she finds out that the person who has come to see her is Nelle… who happily shares the news that she and Michael are now engaged to be married!

“Carly knows, thanks to Jason, that Michael is doing whatever it takes to protect his family,” Altman reminds viewers. “But this development completely throws her. Even if she trusts that Michael hasn’t turned against her, she doesn’t trust Nelle at all. She knows this woman is capable of absolutely anything, and she’s worried about the fact that Michael has put himself into a dangerous situation!”

In other circumstances, Carly would probably rest easy in the knowledge that Sonny would deal with the situation. But, as Van Etten says, “Sonny doesn’t like Michael getting so deeply involved, but he’s got a lot on his plate right now in dealing with Mike. Plus, he’s confident in Jason’s ability to get to the bottom of things.”

Danger From Every Side!

The big question is whether or not anyone can expose Nelle before it’s too late! “As Michael, Jason and — unbeknownst at this point to them — Chase work to get the goods on Nelle,” concludes Altman, “Carly finds herself sinking deeper into the abyss that is Ferncliff!”

“Do you wanna play telephone?”

Jason has always protected Sonny’s family. Will he have to step in to save Michael from Nelle?

“This is very personal for Chase,” says Van Etten. “He has good reason to want to see Nelle brought down!”

“We’re seeing a very different side of Michael,” previews Altman.
