As the daughter of a social worker, Jessica Seinfeld (left), 43, the wife of comedian Jerry Seinfeld, knows childhood poverty is no laughing matter. In 2001, she founded the nonprofit organization Baby Buggy to provide childcare gear, parenting support and educational services to families in need with the goal of breaking the cycle of poverty that so often follows from one generation to the next. Baby Buggy's new Fatherhood Initiative was launched when she spotted the special needs of dads. "The men we serve are trying to lift themselves up and lift their families up," says Seinfeld, the mother of three. "They have a lot that they struggle with."
