Seven years ago, af­ter watch­ing her hus­band Ben Zobrist’s late-night base­ball game, she stepped into a sta­dium el­e­va­tor while hold­ing her then-in­fant son, Zion. A woman turned to her and in a baby-talk voice said, “Oh, Mommy! Please get me in bed. Don’t be so mean. I re­ally should be in bed.” New mom Ju­lianna felt gut-punched.

“I had just rocked my baby to sleep in my lap in the stands and had Bud Light thrown over my head,” the Chris­tian pop singer says. “I thought, Maybe she’s right—he should be in bed. Maybe he should be sleep­ing a nor­mal sched­ule and not be on planes and trav­el­ing.”

She told the story to Ben, who sev­eral years later would be named MVP when the Chicago
