Deadline extended for applications to Private 100

NM companies have until Sept. 2 to submit entries for annual list

- JOURNAL STAFF REPORT

The deadline for submitting companies for consideration for this year’s Private 100 has been extended to Sept. 2.

Large and small, from restaurants to manufacturers, from breweries to high-tech innovators — the list shines a spotlight on New Mexico’s privately owned businesses and recognizes the contributions they make to the state’s economy.

Companies that make the list will be featured in a special Business Outlook this November and honored at a special luncheon.

The Private 100 is a chance to celebrate many success stories. Last year’s list featured a wide array, from a multistate pizza chain to a gym company. Industries include construction, real estate, health care, retail, technology and energy and aerospace.

The companies come from all over New Mexico, though those headquartered in Albuquerque dominate.

For last year’s list, the NM Private 100 combined revenues totaled $4.2 billion. The companies collectively employ 9,105 individuals in the state.

Nomination forms can be found at mossadams.com/nmprivate100. The deadline to apply is Sept. 2.

For more information about the nomination form or the New Mexico Private 100 program, contact Cindy Miller or Amanda Marquez at nmprivate100@mossadams.com or 505-878-7200.

The Privare 100 is sponsored by Moss Adams, Modrall Sperling Lawyers, Bank of America Merrill Lynch and the Albuquerque Journal.
