Porter, James H.

James H. Porter died in his sleep September 15, 2016. He was born in Decatur, Illinois on January 9, 1924. He graduated from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois in 1949 following his service in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. He retired from Sandia Laboratories in 1989 after 39+ years of service.

He is survived by Anthony, Michael, and James, their spouses; and two grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held at The Lady of Annunciation Church (2532 Vermont NE) on Monday, September 26th at 8:30 AM. A reception will follow at 11:00 AM in the St. Magdalene Hall of the church.
