Candace Christine Cloud, 54, died November 28, 2016.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce Eversmeyer; her parents, Leon and Linda Cloud; her sisters, Barbara Cloud, Carol Bennett and Brenda Cloud; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Candace was born May 4, 1962 in San Francisco and spent the bulk of her childhood in several small towns in Idaho. At age 16, she left high school to attend Community College in Oregon. She went on to the University of Oregon where at the age of 20 she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. After graduation she moved to Moscow, ID where she continued her education and met Bruce. They were married on May 18, 1990 and lived mainly in Western Oregon where she worked as an Environmen­tal Health Specialist. In 2012 Candace and Bruce moved to Albuquerqu­e to be close to their niece, Clare O’Callaghan. Soon thereafter she was diagnosed with cancer which she battled until her death. She loved children, especially her nieces and nephews, some of whom she took into her home and had a significan­t influence in their lives.

A Celebratio­n of Life for Candace will be Sunday, December 4, 2016, 1:00 p. m. at Congregati­on B’Nai Israel, 4401 Indian School Rd NE.
