Driggers graduated from University of New Mexico School of Law, just like her parents, Marcy and Doug, who actually met while they were students there.
Even after she quit practicing law, Driggers spent years offering pro bono legal representation to people who were homeless or on the edge of homelessness in Las Cruces. “I was able to — I hope — help individuals who couldn’t receive help any other way,” she says.
Her paternal grandfather, Bill Driggers, was the first sheriff of Cibola County.
