Aguilar, Juliette Marie

Our beautiful mother Juliette Marie Aguilar 84, left this world to be with her Savior Jesus Christ and her beloved husband of 64 years, Jimmy Aguilar in paradise on July 13, 2017. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Juliette is preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Aguilar, grandson, Freddie Chavira Jr, son-inlaw Edward Wiest, her parents, Dolores and Vito Miera, sister LuVena Trujillo, brothers Vito Miera Jr., Orlando Miera, nephews Orlando Miera Jr., Joey Baca, Joe P Sanchez and Christopher Aguilar. Juliette is survived by her daughter Roxanne Wiest, son Larry Aguilar, daughter Jeanette Harris and husband Mike, grandchildren, Samantha Rivera and partner Deanna Briggs, Paula Rivera, Scott Harris and Robert Harris. She is also survived by her beloved sister Thelma Baca, sisters-in-law Lucille Miera and Katherine Miera and many special nieces and nephews. Juliette became a mother to many of those nieces and nephews when they lost their own mother, and was always there to offer support, encouragement and love. She loved her children and grandchildren fiercely and protectively. She stood firmly in her beliefs and never backed away from a good argument. She had true class and was always a lady. She loved her catholic faith, going to the casino and a good shot of Jack. Our thanks to Drs. Tarnower and Saeed of the UNM Cancer Center for their compassion and care.

Services will take place on Wednesday, July 5th, 2017 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church with Rosary at 8:15 followed by Mass at 9 AM. Internment following at Santa Fe National Cemetary at 12:45. Honorary pall bearers are Theresa Molina, Roslyn Kloeppel, David Aguilar, Steve Aguilar, Laurie Guy and Elizabeth Kathrein. In leiu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Fatima at
