Sandra S. Mon­roe, 68, of Al­bu­querque, died on Fri­day 9/8, 2017 fol­low­ing a lengthy ill­ness at the Pres­by­te­rian Rust Med­i­cal Cen­ter in Rio Ran­cho, NM. She was born July 30, 1949 in North Tar­ry­town, NY, to James and Lelia Stover.

She is sur­vived by her daugh­ter Kim­berly A. Melzer, broth­ers James, Ron­ald and Paul Stover, her sis­ter Lori Stover, neph­ews Ryan, Devin, Shawn, Colby Stover and Jeffrey Davis, nieces Shana and Ash­lyn Stover and sev­eral cousins. Sandra’s fa­ther, James Stover & mother, Lelia Stover & brother, Ste­wart Stover pre­ceded her in death.

Sandra was a long time res­i­dent of Al­bu­querque where she lived and worked for over 40 years and was known by her many friends and for­mer em­ploy­ees of a pop­u­lar lo­cal restau­rant chain as a very fun lov­ing, car­ing and loyal per­son. She en­joyed cook­ing & loved gath­er­ings with fam­ily and friends.
