Ba­bette Saenz,

61, beloved child of God, was called home to her eter­nal rest­ing place on Septem­ber 7, 2017.

She en­tered this world on Novem­ber 21, 1955, in Al­bu­querque, NM, born to Adolph (Mary Ellen) and

Jan Saenz. She is pre­ceded in death by her beloved son, Christo­pher Ale­jan­dro Saenz, her sis­ter, Lau­ren Krach­man, and her nephew, Robert Scott Saenz. She is sur­vived by her mother Jan Saenz, fa­ther Adolph Saenz; broth­ers Kurt Saenz (Theresa), Michael Saenz, Eric Saenz; sis­ter Marie Sisi Miranda; neph­ews and nieces, Wil­liam Krach­man, Stephanie Martinez (Jeff), Ash­leigh Chas­teen (Colby), Michael Tay­lor, Ivan Du­ran, Mariah Esqueda (Car­los); Ean Du­ran, Lau­ren Saenz, Kelsey Miller, Miranda Saenz, Tay­lor Saenz, Loren Saenz, and many great neph­ews and nieces.

Dr. Ba­bette Saenz (MPA, DOM, MITS) was a renowned Doc­tor of Ori­en­tal Medicine in Al­bu­querque and a strong pro­po­nent of in­te­grated medicine. She was deeply com­mit­ted to the pro­fes­sion of heal­ing and con­tin­ued to give of her­self even be­yond her phys­i­cal life here on earth through her de­ci­sion to become an or­gan donor. Ba­bette was an ac­tive mem­ber of Legacy Church and lo­cal com­mu­nity and im­pacted many lives through her self­less ded­i­ca­tion to oth­ers. Af­ter the tragic loss of her son at the age of 16, Ba­bette felt called to guide other moth­ers through loss & pro­vided grief coun­sel­ing in her church com­mu­nity. She in­spired many through her de­vo­tion to God & com­pas­sion­ate spirit & was al­ways will­ing to lend a help­ing hand to some­one in need.

A cel­e­bra­tion of life and me­mo­rial ser­vice for Ba­bette will be held on Fri­day, Septem­ber 29th, 2017, 10:30 a.m. at Legacy Church East Cam­pus, 4701 Wy­oming Blvd NE, Al­bu­querque, NM 87111.
