UNM coach Bob Davie has great re­spect for Colorado State. He is well aware the Rams have had a tough sched­ule this sea­son, with games against Colorado, Ar­kan­sas and Flor­ida. CSU is com­ing off a 42-30 vic­tory at San Jose State. WR

Pre­ston Wil­liams led CSU with 67 yards and two touch­downs re­ceiv­ing. Davie be­lieves the Rams will blitz on de­fense to try to get to Jones, UNM’s QB. For the past eight years, the Rams have had the Lo­bos’ num­ber. CSU will try to keep that eightgame win streak go­ing against New Mex­ico. The Rams will have their home­com­ing game to­day at Can­vas Sta­dium, which opened last year. CSU coach Mike Bobo is in his fourth year with the Rams. He has guided the Rams to bowl games in each of his first three sea­sons
