The exhibition also shows off what was one of the most prestigious Italian motorcycles, and one that has become an absolute rarity given that it was produced in only 1152 exemplars. We are speaking of the MV Agusta 750 Sport, a product of Cascina Costa. While it could not boast of performance superior to its rivals, this model stood out for its incredible resemblance to the motorcycle raced by the peerless pilot Giacomo Agostini, who with his 15 world titles remains the greatest motorcycle racer in history. Currently valued at over $43,000, the MV Agusta 750 Sport had a four-stroke engine, four cylinders in light alloy and spark distributor ignition. The large front brake was notable, heavy and subject to wear in case of intense use, while the rear one, also a central drum, was of reduced dimensions. In any case, the frame was not adequate for the weight and performance of the engine and model.
