Green Tea & Ginger Ice Cream
Serves 4 Forgo the fatty Häagen-Dazs, and dig into this yummy, creamy (and antioxidant-packed) alternative. RECIPE BY LISA TURNER
1 ⅓ cup almond milk 1 large avocado, peeled and pitted 1 Tbs. matcha green tea powder 1 Tbs. finely minced ginger Honey or stevia to taste
1. Combine almond milk, avocado, green tea, and ginger in blender. Purée until thick and creamy. Taste, and add sweetener, if needed. 2. Transfer to ice cream maker, and process according to manufacturer’s instructions. Divide among individual dishes, and serve immediately.
