Green Tea & Gin­ger Ice Cream

Serves 4 Forgo the fatty Häa­gen-Dazs, and dig into this yummy, creamy (and an­tiox­i­dant-packed) al­ter­na­tive. RECIPE BY LISA TURNER

1 ⅓ cup al­mond milk 1 large av­o­cado, peeled and pit­ted 1 Tbs. matcha green tea pow­der 1 Tbs. finely minced gin­ger Honey or ste­via to taste

1. Com­bine al­mond milk, av­o­cado, green tea, and gin­ger in blender. Purée un­til thick and creamy. Taste, and add sweet­ener, if needed. 2. Trans­fer to ice cream maker, and process ac­cord­ing to man­u­fac­turer’s in­struc­tions. Di­vide among in­di­vid­ual dishes, and serve im­me­di­ately.
