days. We recharge our cell phones and other electronic devices, but our own energy stores are not always so easily replenished, and our fast-paced lifestyles can leave us feeling drained and depleted over time.

“Secrets to Non-Stop Energy” by Lisa Turner on p. 54 recognizes that energy is not only physical, but also mental, emotional, and even spiritual. For real vitality on every level, the kind that creates an inner glow and may even prompt people to say, “I love your energy,” we need to address every facet. This is the kind of energy that’s not just dependent on putting the right nutrients in your body, but also on the things you do to enrich your mind and care for your emotional well-being.

Of course, a healthy diet, sleep, and exercise are vital to optimal physical stamina and performance. Supplements can also provide a boost. (Check out the top three supplements for fast energy, p. 58). And, as you’ll read in Turner’s s article, practices such as cultivating a positive attitude, learning new tasks, and living with integrity are also key. What I love about this article is that it acknowledges that we are multi-dimensional human beings, not machines that simply need to be “recharged.” Nurturing all of these aspects is the real secret to non-stop energy.

For real vitality on every level ... we need to address every facet.
