Im­ages of North Amer­i­can birds are ap­pear­ing in large-scale mu­rals in New York City as a part of the Audubon Mu­ral Project, a col­lab­o­ra­tion be­tween the Na­tional Audubon So­ci­ety and Ari Gitler of Gitler &_____ Gallery. Cur­rently, there are 82 com­pleted mu­rals of 312 in­tended, rep­re­sent­ing the num­ber of North Amer­i­can bird species un­der threat from cli­mate change.
