Open­ing March 24 at the James A. Michener Art Mu­seum is Rae Sloan Bredin: Har­mony

and Power, show­cas­ing the work of renowned Penn­syl­va­nia im­pres­sion­ist painter. Bredin’s work is char­ac­ter­ized by re­fine­ment, dig­nity and seren­ity, and he is par­tic­u­larly well­known for his idyllic vi­sion of life along the Delaware River. Har­mony and Power marks his first solo ret­ro­spec­tive in 85 years, and it re­mains on view through July 15
