The Last Laugh

American Senior - - NEWS -

A game warden spotted a man carrying a bucket of lobsters one morning while patrolling the beach. The game warden approached him: “I assume you have a permit for those lobsters. Poaching lobsters is a serious offense.”

The man responded, “You’ve got it all wrong! These lobsters are my pets and every morning, I take them out for some exercise. I let them swim around in the ocean for a few minutes and then when I whistle, they come back in.”

The game warden looked at the man skeptically and said, “Okay then, prove it.”

The man threw the lobsters into the ocean, then they both stood there waiting. After a couple minutes, the game warden looked at the man and said, “That’s long enough, now whistle your lobsters back in.”

The man turned to the game warden and said, “Lobsters? What lobsters?”
