The Aug. 11 sui­cide of Robin Wil­liams at the age of 63 hit many of the co­me­dian’s fans very hard. Among them were the an­i­ma­tors and film­mak­ers who worked with Wil­liams on his clas­sic voice per­for­mance of the Ge­nie in Dis­ney’s 1992 an­i­mated fea­ture Aladdin.

Wil­liams won a spe­cial achieve­ment Os­car for the role, which has been ac­claimed by crit­ics and beloved by fans.
